AFCA Shines at Beijing International Fair for Trade in Services
The Fifth China (Beijing) International Fair for Trades in Services jointly sponsored by the Ministry of Commerce and the People’s Government of Beijing Municipality, commenced in the National Convention Center on May 28. Hu Chunhua, Vice Premier of the State council visited the exhibition hall. Cai Qi, Secretary of Beijing Municipal Committee of the CPC, Cui Sai On, Chief Executive of Macau Special Administrative Region, Zhong Shan, Minister of Commerce, Bu Xiaolin, Deputy Secretary of the CPC Committee of Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region and Vice Chairman of the Government of Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, Chen Jining, Mayor and Deputy Secretary of Beijing Municipal Committee of the CPC, and Ji Lin, Chairman of CPPCC Beijing Committee visited the Fair and attended the Global Summit on Trade in Services held afterwards.
Asian Financial Cooperation Association, as the first regional, international, and non-governmental financial organization which is established in response to China’s initiative, participated in this Fair on invitation and displayed its achievements in the past one year. The exhibition area of AFCA, taking up nearly 30 square meters, is located in the Emerging Finance Area in the main venue of the Fair. AFCA’s exhibition concentrated on four major topics, which are “Brief Introduction of Asian Financial Cooperation Association”, “Establishment Ceremony of AFCA”, “Debut of AFCA Master Forum in Budapest”, “AFCA Propels ‘Belt and Road’ Construction”. The exhibition, with illustrative photos and texts, displayed the proposal of preparation for AFCA, the achievements of AFCA in promoting “Belt and Road” Construction and the future development scheme of AFCA and has attracted a lot of visitors.
This year’s CIFTS, themed on Promoting Openness, Innovation and Integration in the Development of Service Industry and Trade in Services, has attracted exhibitors from 120 countries and regions, and will hold over 130 seminars, meetings, and trade activities.
