Established in 1994 with registered capital of 57 billion RMB yuan, Agricultural Development Bank of China (ADBC) is the only agricultural policy-oriented bank which is under the direct administration of the State Council in China. The mission of ADBC is to raise funds through market on the basis of state credibility, and act as a strategic pillar of the country in supporting the development of agriculture, rural areas and farmers. The operation objective of the Bank is to serve the national strategy and build up itself as a sustainable agricultural policy-oriented bank that is characterized by features of dedicated position, outstanding function, clear business pattern, adequate capital, standardized governance, rigorous internal control, secured operation and good service. Currently, ADBC has a service network across the Chinese mainland consisting of 31 provincial-level branches, 339 prefecture-level branches and 1,816 county-level sub-branches with more than 50,000 employees.
