China Life Insurance (Group) Company is a large state-owned financial and insurance company. It has China Life Insurance Company Limited, China Life Asset Management Company Limited, China Life Property & Casualty Insurance Company Limited, China Life Pension Company Limited, China Life Ecommerce Company Limited, China Life Insurance (Overseas) Company Limited, China Life Investment Holding Company Limited and Insurance Professional College as its subsidiaries. In 2016, China Life became the largest shareholder of China Guangfa Bank, and therefore opens a new era of synergic development of three business segments involving insurance, investment and banking. In 2017, its consolidated revenues were nearly 817 billion RMB yuan, an increase of 17.3% year-on-year. Its consolidated insurance premium income reached 643.8 billion RMB yuan, an increase of 14.9% year-on-year. Its total asset reached 3.6 trillion RMB yuan. It manages an asset of 770.6 billion RMB yuan for the third party. China Life is the largest institutional investor in China's capital market. It has been listed among “The Fortune Global 500” for 15 consecutive years, ranking 51st in 2017.
